What happens between your first coffee of the day and the inevitable question, “Where are we eating tonight?” Quite a lot, actually.
Life in Capiz has a rhythm of its own. There are morning runs, quick coffee stops, long dinners, night market cravings, weekend drives, and random plans with friends. Every now and then, you also discover something that makes you say, “Wait, we have this here?”
Those everyday moments are exactly what PdP Life wants to explore.

So, What Is PdP Life?
PdP Life is a new lifestyle page from Pueblo de Panay that explores food, leisure, interests, entertainment, people, and places in and around the township.
However, this isn’t the usual Pueblo de Panay page.
PdP Life is more relaxed, curious, and spontaneous. We want to experience places instead of simply talking about them. We want to try the food, meet the people, join the fun, and share what we discover along the way.
Think of us as the friend who is always asking, “Where should we go next?”
Starting in Pueblo de Panay
Naturally, many of our stories will begin in Pueblo de Panay.
Maybe we’ll grab coffee before work. We might try something new at Mercado de Roxas, play a game, go for a run, or find a quiet place to spend the afternoon. When something new opens, we’ll probably be curious about that too.
After all, a township isn’t only about the places inside it. It’s also about how people experience those places every day.
That’s the side we’re interested in.
Exploring Roxas City and Capiz
PdP Life won’t stop at the township gates.
There’s simply too much of Roxas City and Capiz worth exploring.
For example, we might hear about a small restaurant that deserves more attention. Someone might recommend a beautiful spot outside the city. Meanwhile, another person might introduce us to a local dish we’ve somehow never tried.
So, we’ll go.
Sometimes we’ll have a plan. Other times, curiosity will decide where we end up.
Yes, There Will Be Food
Of course, food will be a big part of PdP Life.
We’re in Capiz, after all.
We’ll explore restaurants, cafés, seafood, night market finds, local favorites, new concepts, and dishes worth driving for. More importantly, we’ll meet some of the people behind them.
We aren’t interested in constantly declaring something the “best.” Instead, we’d rather tell you what we enjoyed, what surprised us, and why something might be worth trying.
Hopefully, you’ll discover a few new favorites with us.
Meeting the People Behind the Place
Places become more interesting when you know the people behind them.
That’s why PdP Life will also feature entrepreneurs, chefs, artists, athletes, students, creators, musicians, and everyday Capiznons with stories worth sharing.
Some are building something new. Others are keeping traditions alive. Many are simply doing something they love.
Together, their stories tell us something about what life in Capiz looks like today.
Laid-Back Doesn’t Mean Standing Still
Perhaps that’s one of the things we like most about living here.
Life can move at a comfortable pace while the community continues to move forward.
You can enjoy a familiar Capiznon dish and discover a new café on the same day. You can appreciate old traditions while welcoming fresh ideas. You can have a productive morning and still find time for a slow afternoon.
Progress doesn’t always have to feel rushed.
That idea sits at the heart of PdP Life.
Living the Culture While Building the Future
“Living the Culture While Building the Future” isn’t about choosing between old and new.
It’s about enjoying both.
We want to appreciate the food, people, traditions, and places that give Capiz its character. At the same time, we want to stay curious about what’s coming next.
PdP Life will simply be there to experience it.
So, if there’s somewhere we should eat, something we should try, someone we should meet, or a corner of Capiz we haven’t discovered yet, tell us.
We might just show up.
Living the culture while building the future. Welcome to the PdP Life.
