Today, our President and CEO Jose Nery “Bub” Ong presented Pueblo de Panay TechnoPark’s potential as an investment location to some of the Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) industry leaders:
Mr. Jack Madrid – IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines
Mr. Mitch Locsin – PLDT
Mr. Bong Borja – Alorica
Mr. JL Botor – Healthcare Information Management Association of the Philippines/Worldsource
Mr. Miguel del Rosario – Animation Council of the Philippines/Toon City Animation
Mr. Alvin Juban – Game Developers Association of the Philippines

In 2023, the IT-BPM industry contributed a revenue of 35 Billion USD to the Philippine economy, and resulted in 1.7 Million direct jobs. It has been deemed the strongest driver of growth to larger cities like Metro Manila, Cebu, and even neighboring city, Iloilo. In our mission to be a meaningful catalyst for economic growth in Northern Panay Island, we hope to keep working with the industry, the local and national government, as well as our local community to bring more jobs to Roxas City and Capiz through Pueblo de Panay TechnoPark.

We extend our gratitude to Mr. Paolo Roxas and Sec. Mar Roxas for making us a part of this event, and to Mayor Ronnie Dadivas and the Roxas LGU, Governor Fred Castro and the Capiz LGU, Cong. Emmanuel Billones, DICT, and our local business community for their support.
